Everett Newell is a clas­si­cally trained char­acter ani­mator, spe­cial­izing in 2D and 3D dig­ital ani­ma­tion. He is highly expe­ri­enced in Flash, ToonBoom/Harmony, Houdini, and Maya. He has pro­fes­sional expe­ri­ence with char­acter and asset devel­op­ment (mod­eling and rig­ging) in Maya, Flash and Harmony.

 

Currently working as a full-time Senior Animator at Nelvana Animation (a divi­sion of Corus Entertainment), Everett is con­stantly seeking out new activ­i­ties to broaden his hori­zons. He is cur­rently in devel­op­ment of his 3rd short film, Project Time-Machine, to be fully ani­mated in 3D using Autodesk Maya. He has also recently com­pleted writing his first novel, A Pill with Infinite Sides, to be pub­lished with iUniverse.

 

Everett studied clas­sical ani­ma­tion at Algonquin College in Ottawa, and 3D com­puter ani­ma­tion at Sheridan College in Oakville Ontario.
